Electro Voice ETX-15SP
ETX-15SP represents a line of powerful active subwoofers of the well-known manufacturer of professional acoustics Electro-Voice, which is part of Bosch Communications Systems. The combination of a built-in massive 15' woofer and a digital class D amplifier with active cooling allows you to overclock this acoustics to as much as 1800 W of peak power (RMS - 450 W) with a range of operating frequencies of 32 Hz 180 Hz at -10 dB and a peak SPL of 134 dB. The built-in multifunctional DSP processor with a built-in equalizer is responsible for sound debugging. Control and selection of DSP operating modes is done with just one rotary knob, and information about the selected setting is displayed on a small LCD display. Additionally, there is a customizable low-pass filter, an FIR filter with FIR-Drive technology, limiters that provide protection against overload, overheating and short circuits, and a crossover responsible for the purity of the system's sound and the separation of the input signal by frequency spectrum. All these components are reliably protected by a durable bass-reflex enclosure made of multilayer birch plywood with a varnish coating, and the front part with a built-in woofer is covered with a removable steel grille. The massive enclosure is equipped with built-in cast handles and four 100 mm wheels for transportation, has a built-in cup for installing a telescopic chassis and eight M10 hooks for hanging the system on a wall.
