KORG NanoKEY ST
The nanoKEY Studio from Korg is a lightweight and portable mini keyboard controller with twenty-five buttons, knobs, trigger pads, and a touchpad that lets you instantly turn ideas into sound. Powered by a battery or USB bus, the controller can connect wirelessly to an iPhone or iPad, or optionally connect to a Mac or Windows computer via USB.
Velocity-sensitive keys allow for easy step-by-step notes, and the Scale Guide feature illuminates the keys to show recommended notes on the scale, making playing even easier. The Easy Scale function creates musical expressions using any keys. Eight velocity-sensitive trigger pads can convey every dynamic nuance of a drum performance. In Chord Play mode, the Chord Scale function automatically determines the best chords for the selected key and scale. Pads can also be set to trigger audio clips.
One-finger control of synthesizers or additional effects is possible using the built-in KAOSS-inspired touchpad. The controller also features an arpeggiator with rhythm patterns, to create a sequence of new phrases just by touching the pad. Likewise, eight buttons provide control over software synthesizers, plug-in effects, or the DAW mixer. A comprehensive selection of music software is available for all supported platforms.
